Things to do There is no question that you need ever be bored here! There are wonderful walks right on your doorstep along with pony trekking, sailing,, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing. For keen gardeners there is the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project along with many National Trust properties: Cotehele, Lanhydrock. The nearest beach is 9 miles away (Looe) famous surfing beaches: Polzeath, Fistral and Watergate Bay are about a 40 minute drive away. The city of Plymouth is 18 miles away and has a good theatre, aquarium and well worth a visit.

Where we are

Pensilva is a moorland village—just a short walk will find you at one of the highest points of the moor. You can see horses, sheep and cattle grazing and wandering free! On a sunny day you will often see young foals sunbathing whilst mum watches on.
The closest towns are Liskeard and Callington (both approximately 5 miles away. Plymouth is 18 miles east and St Austell 18 miles west. .
