Welcome to Treglyn, Old Cornish for "Dwelling Place in the Glen" On arrival you are sure to agree that Treglyn is an especially peaceful place. Glance to the south and you will see why the old farmhouse was built here. The cottages enjoy this same magnificent view, stretching away across farmland to Wadebridge and the countryside beyond. About the cottages are small grass paddocks where you will find residents like Cocoa the pony. You'll also see various wildlife visitors such as a Kestrel, one of over sixty bird species spotted on Treglyn! The tennis court is just down the path, we'll supply racquets and balls. Have your tea, meet your neighbours around the barbecue, sit by the open patio door and enjoy a drink whilst recounting the day at dusk. If you are lucky you will also see the barn owl sweeping silently by.

A Relaxing Place to Stay at Any Time of Year. Later the bar will be open. Stroll around and have a game of pool, or sit with a nice cool drink and imagine bygone days when a horse would have been in this 'round-house', walking around in a circle to power the mill. See the 1975 aerial photograph and note the amazing changes. A great place to mix and get to know your host and fellow guests, the 'Cow and Calf' is for the exclusive use of cottage residents, and the whole family can join in. On your way back to the cottage you might notice the stars in the sky, as bright now as always away from city lighting. The lights of Wadebridge and villages are far enough away to add to the scene. Early risers at Treglyn are often greeted by a spectacular sunrise, but don't be surprised if you sleep soundly right through it!

Cottages. As you approach you will be pleased to see that all the cottages are built to a very high standard, finished in stone, all in the style of the original barn. Look carefully and you will find a stone bearing the date 1844. The conversion was made in 1989. This high standard is continued inside, each cottage being tastefully fitted out with quality furnishings and everything you will need for a comfortable and carefree time, including microwave, fridge and colour T.V. Even the beds are made-up ready for you. For your further reassurance, we are registered with the Cornwall Tourist Board. The owner/manager is on hand throughout your stay and is keen to ensure that you enjoy yourselves.
